fog light wiring

I have installed aftermarket fogs on my MSP, and wnat to wire them into my dash on a switch rather than into the harness... Problem: State inspection laws require that my fogs are disabled whenever the high beams are on. Is it possible to wire the relay to override the switch when the highs are on or am i gonna have to wire them conventionally? Just curious...


Oh and one other thing, does anyone know if any MSP's were sold without fog lights or was it a standard option? I bought my car brand new, but the fog light holes were def. empty...

There are a ton of threads on this...do a search. FYI, yes it's been done before, and no, the 0.5's and 03.7's did not come with fogs. The front lip is an addition to these models, and won't accept the stock fogs. You CAN take off the front lip and put in '03 fogs, but I like the look of the lip.

DG Lip on 03.5's or 7's with fogs = teh hotness! Getting the fogs next week for my self and still needing the new lip.

you got it... yellow fogs in the holes with the lip looks sharp... Just that the B*tches in NH wont inspect it like that... Oh well, ill just take the fogs out, inspect it, and put them back in when i get back home and wire it how i want it... bastards...
