Anyone have any pics of the p5 headlights on the msp? I like them, and think they would look pretty good on silver. Anyone know of a less expensive route to purchase, besides the dealership?

The only way you will get P5 headlights cheap is off a a wrecked one. If someone starts making projectors for them then you may start seeing some sets for sale but for now theres not a lot of options

You could also try to source some out of Canada. Plus, some come with the black housing already. I can't remember which year though, 2003 maybe?

but what do you need to do for the MSP to take the P5 headlights? they have different wiring harness on different housing (H4 to H7)?

i got a buddy that might want to switch his p5 lights for your msp, i'll talk to him after work and tell him to look you up if he's interested.

with your windows tinted, i think the msp lights look better, they keep some dark contrast

It's tricky...I had to splice my low beams with my fog light, then cap one wire off, and take the remaining 2 from the old harness to connect to the new harness for High beams.

Thanks....I actually make them myself, but the GB is closed right now. I have quite a bit to do in the coming months. If you want more info you can PM me (I don't want to jack up ONRAILS thread).

Here's mine. These are the black Canadian headlights on my Spicy Orange MSP. I'd say on a silver it would be best to either get these or swap with a P5 and then paint them black. Just my opinion though. I like the contrast of the light with dark better.
The swap is relatively simple. You'll just need to get H7 and 9005 harnesses. After that the wiring is very simple. Just let me know if you need any help with it. You won't have to source off of your fogs. The trickiest part is just understanding that the MSP's headlights have an internal ground.
Best of luck to you. I think this is a nice mod. that will help set your car apart from the other MSPs.

the wrench has the wiring diagrams to do both cars...the p5 lights on the msp is the easiest.
