So as some of you know I just purchased my MSP on 12/27 (last monday)

the car is used and has 11k miles on it. It has a SRI and Exhaust.
I was planning on taking it to a Mazda Dealer to have some things checked out. Do you think they will void my warranty because of the aftermarket parts. I purchased the car from a large used car dealer with the mods. So it should be there fault if its voided. thanks. sorry if that doesnt make to much sense , its kinda late .

edit. I would like them to see if the wastegate is shot at all. cause of possible boost spike

You may have to take it to a few different dealers but with just an exhaust and intake you should get some help from Mazda. (of course that all depends on what the problem is)

some of us have had our warrenties voided for less, much much less, like stock.

But i would take it anyway, maybe the people the work on your car will understand that an intake wont crack a piston unlike the guys who worked on mine.

Call around and see wha they'll tell you. In theory they may only be able to deny warranty claims on your muffler and coolant reservoir, but that's not the way it usually works out. Why don't you ask some people on the forum that live near you where they take their cars?

What makes you think the wastegate is shot?

definately get the stock intake on there, they can say that the SRI sucked up dust and cause it is still an open element air filer, so its no good at a dealer. The exhaust they cannot do shit to you for, just tell them you put a different muffler on becuase the stock muffler sounded bad or something, be creative.
