....the tach and speedo where switched
The tach on the P5 should be large and in the center and the speedo should be small and on the right IMO

either that or the Cooper's. But i agree, who cares how fast you're going. How fast your engine is running is more important. lol.

Unless, of course, you're being tailgated by a statie or a cop.

just used to my rx7 is all
im not used to my P5 yet so i cant tell when to shift without looking at the tach and it is cleverly hidden behind part of the steering wheel and my hand everytime i need to take a quick glance
i can see the speedo just fine though

well, as long as the cops or state trooper don't turn on their lights, you're fine. But as soon as they turn on the lights, flip a switch that drops tacks on the road.

I think it'd be sick if someone made that tone they have on the RX when you're near redlining it but so that it was programmable for different cars. shift lights are too ugly and distracting and I'm not keen on hacking up the interior to make my own with LEDs
or maybe a row of LEDs in different colors like the LCD dash of the S2000 where it blinks right before you need to shift

i like it better than say the mazda3, where the tach is on the left, spd middle. very annoying.
