Looking for opinions

I have the DG motorsports ram-air hood. There is a crack from when I got it that has now run down into the CF. To repair it would ruin the CF look. I am thinking of getting the middle of the hood painted black mica to match the car and leaving the outside CF look. What do you guys think? Here is a pic of the car now. The black will go up to the raised sides, and the raised sides will remain with the CF look? Definately looking for opinions on this.

I think that would look ok. Just make sure to pick up some eyelids.

i personally think it would look super hott. my friend cracked his CF hood on his lude and did this, it looks very good on his car.

Yeah, with some cf eyelids i think that would look pretty good!
