Hey all, I'm in the middle of trying to paint my headlights, and for some reason the instructions in the how-to didn't go right for me.

I removed all the scres from the wheel well, and the bottom and sides of the bumper. I try pulling it off, but there are two screws attached to the frame when I peel back the wheel well lining. Do i have to cut the wheel in and remove these screws, or did I do something wrong? Please help, thanks a lot.

yeah you need to remove those screws, there actually one under the light too..i cant figure out how to get to it though. so mine is broken but the bumper still aligns perfect.

pull your wheel well back and look up at the bumper , their is 2 screws per side, use a phillips and then remove them... after that their is a clip like thing that goes under the headlight, i dont know how exactly it comes out but i just pull lightly and it pops out... pops right back in also so i must be doing it right.... plus you need to take the front grill off... mine used to be off every week so if you have any questions just let me know..

As for the tab on the headlight, make sure you use a small flat head and tape it with electrical tape. You must push down in the middle of the tab, and the bumper will then come off (thats if you removed the two screws on the sides of course).

nah, i got the bumper and grille off (painted my emblem gloss black). it's just some screws are stripped, after close inspection. so i don't think anything's gonna happen with my front end until i fix those.
