I just posted this is the MazdaSpeed section, but thought someone here might know the answer!!
Are the struts for the MP3 and the MSP the same?
I am looking at these right now:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7942584775&sspagename=ADME%3AB%3AWN%3AMT%3A1
and I want to make sure that they will be matched up with my MSP springs when I get them!
Thanks in advance for any help and Merry Christmas!!!

Does the MSP sit lower than the MP5? I thought the MP3 and the MP5 had the same suspension.

Are you talking about the strut rebound rates and stuff or if they are a direct swap? They are a direct swap and I beleive they have the same rates as well. The MSP sits a little lower but that is due to the springs. I beleive the struts are the same but I'm sure if you go to the dealer they will probably be listed under different part #'s. But

the MP3 suspension is not the same at the P5 suspension. and there's no such thing as an "MP5." :)
P5 suspension = ES suspension.
