What a way to go into the Christmas weekend! I live about 20 miles away from work and was litterally 100ft away from the driveway when some a**hole decided to cut me off and forced me off the road straight into a curb going about 35mph. The attached photo is of the ugly result. There wasn't any body damage thankfully...it still sucks though. I just got this car 3 weeks ago! (bang) UGH!

yea seems like every time someone gets a new car, something happens to it with the first 2 or 3 months. i got hit on my 4th month though, $1400 worth of damage, good thing it wasnt my fault, i was pissed at first, but then the body shop hooked me up with the mp3 for $125 diff that i paid so it turned out ok. but few months after that some bastards at my work, banged my rear driver door as if it was kicked in, was $600 worth of damage. its like theres a new car curse out there. :)

Within the first year of ownership, my brothers P5 was hit in the drivers side door (someone forgot to set their parking brake) so the skin had to be replaced. Then it was read-ended, resulting in a new rear bumber and some frame damage. Then, last but not least, it was side-swiped by our own father in the driveway (backing out of the garage)! It messed up the fender pretty good and he has yet to get that fixed...

looks worse than just a falt or a bent rim....the tire is touching the body on the left...and there is TONS of room on the other side....looks like there is some significant suspension damage to me.

My mom did that twice to my P5.. coming out of the driveway or garage, whenever I'm home from school.. still gotta get my front QP replaced. :(

I just spoke with the mechanic...the claim inspector say it was $2200 worth of damage. I got to look at it...the freakin' control arm was bent all to hell! The wheel got scratched pretty good too. They're going to replace a whole bunch of stuff. Strut assembly, tie rod, control arm, ball joint, rocker panel...the works. Crazy how just a stupid incident like that can do so much freaking damage.

That is what my Subaru's broken axle looked like.
