Ok from what i gather the P5 did away with the powered driving lights in front of the front wheel in 2003 and added some turning lights behind the front wheel, cause i have those.

My question is do the 2002 lights fit the 2003, i would like to turn mine into working lights. Or maybe i should look at mine and see if they are the same thing but just arent wired and with no bulb, hmm...

I also saw an rx7 clear side marker how to..are the rx7 clear lenses powered? I would love to get clear ones on there to match the turning lights, hell maybe even wire them so they blink also.

I dont want to do some sort of ghetto style duct tape the light to the inside thing so i want ones that are already molded to accept lights and are also probably moisure resistant.

I realize i am going to have to run wires and tap into my headligts but that shouldnt be a problem:)

Both years have the lights on the side bumper-they should work. in 2002.5 they added the fender directionals. There are many posts about adding clear markers....

All P5 lights are powered in front of the wheel. the 2002 models had no side indicators and no alarm. In 2002.5 they added the side indicators and dropped the covered cupholders. In 2003 they got a powered sub, and tweeters on the pass door's sidemirrors.

If your lights dont work, check the bulbs.

My P5 is an '02, and it didn't have side directionals, so I added them by wiring the floating ground to the ground connection on the two side lights in front of my wheel wells. =) Now everyone beside me knows where I'm going, too! Horay!

You better check your muffler bearings. They tend to go out around the time that the running light fluid gets low. I think it is part of the 12,000 mile service at the Mazda Dealer. (rlaugh)

i have no idea, if i lock the doors the lights blink once, it i hit it again the horn honks, but i think that is just verifying the doors are locked not setting an alarm

when i get a chance ill go outside and open the window, lock everything up and try to manually get in the car
