ok so we were installing my buddies GC coilovers on his mazdaspeed, and most of my friends are nissan freaks. and they commented on the wimpy size of our front upper strut bar. i never really noticed it, but it is kinda, on the small/weak looking size. so would upgrading that make a noticable difference? or is it not worthwhile?

also, could someone throw up a link that has that strut bar that connects on the struts, and on the firewall?

cp racing has a triangulated strut bar. there are a few reviews about it somewhere, and a how to in the how to section. http://www.cpracing.ca/

Is was a bitch to install, but it really makes a HUGE difference. Tracking on the freeway is 100% better, and turn-in is much more predictable and sharp in the corners.
I dunno if the fact that I have coilovers makes a difference, but the triangle STB made my P5 much more responsive and easy to drive fast.

He's talking about the 8 holes they cut for installation onto your strut towers. They look like they were cut by a 7th grade metal shop student.
I really don't know.(uhm) I can say that if you order one, demand a bracket to reposition your CC unit. That was the single biggest headache of the install, figuring out how to move the damn cruise control out of the way.

AutoEXE makes one as well...

http://www.corksport.com/main.php3?primNavIndex=0&mainURL=%2Fstore%2Findex.php3%3Fcat%3D220752

I am going to get it b/c I think the thicker the bar, the more mounting points, the more rigid the chassis, and thus better handling. Though, I dont know if i'm gonna do the AutoEXE or the CP one. Quite a difference in price, but for engine bling bling, the autoexe cant be beat.

And I am pretty sure i'm going to do the CP racing rear bar b/c you can use it with the radio rack, where as the GT Spec you cant.
