As many of you know already, my car has been keyed twice resulting in the sanding and repainting of 5 panels of my vehicle. Due to this mouldings and badges have been removed in the process, I am no longer wanting to put the V6 badges because I think the look is smoother and cleaner without them, I just wanted to know everyones opinion about this.

I like the moldings, they are there to stay.

I debadged everything but the rear mazda emblem on the trunk. Makes for a very clean and sleek looking car. Plus everyone wonders what the heck the car is, which is fun to hear their guesses :).

Some people also remove the side moulding completely, which makes the car look taller. I haven't yet done this, cause I know the second I do, some jackass will dent my side door.

it is a sleeper...LOL! nobody knws what a 6 is still even with the badges. Atenza badge is even more fun cause people won't ever pass me now.

You want fun, do what my uncle did with his crown vic, and add police strobes inside...tint windows dark...and enjoy affect on highways:D...just watch out for smokies, they don't take kindly to being duped like this:D...wow, I just sounded like I should be drivin an old orange charger with 01 on the side, confed. flag on roof, dixie horn, and my cousin in my lap....*shudders* sorry. Carry on

I was planing on something like that but crown vic was black, 20% tinted windows, 3 trunk antennas, gutted interior with 1 racing seat, Cobra engine/supercharger/tranny/rear end, and NX kit. One day...One day. I do have the wig wag kit still(alternating hi beam flasher thinky)

I stripped all of mine off of the STi.
The only thing left is the word subaru

heat/googone/ and dental floss. if there is some left use goo gone. rubbing glue with bare fingers after a few seconds will learn you a life lesson to tell someonelse ;)

Make sure after you remove the badges to clean and rewax the section. Goo-gone tends to strip wax off the area it was used on. A little wax on the section and your good to go!

When I removed the "6" I used the turtle wax Power Out professional strenght carpet cleaner...true story! I'm always the megyver guy using off the wall stuff cause I managed to wait till after halfway thru the mod to realise I forgot 1 thing.

E Bay...always at least 5 actions going daily...axela badges are like a scarce item on ebay if you wanted to go that route as well...
