CD would not come out

Hi,

Mine is Protege, 01. But just now, the disc got stuck in the player, and no am/fm radio either. It sounds as if the disc is whirling like crazy. I wanna open the dash, but don't know how to do so. Could you help me out?

Hi, mine is msp, 03. This is the msp section, and we have a completely different headunit than you do. There won't be many people in here that can help you with your stock CD problem.

However, since you are new, I will try to help you out.:) A CD got stuck in mine a couple weeks ago, and I had to just reset the player to get the CD and radio functions to work again. I am not sure if there is a reset button on your HU or not, but if there isn't, then just try disconnecting your negative battery terminal real quick... see if that wakes it back up and at least gets your radio working.
