Definitely not my thing, but if you like it....it's your car.....
Personally I think the opposite looks better (blue stripes on silver/titanium car). NOT that I am going out to get stripes mind you.

I say no stripes. I have a lazer blue and I wouldnt put them on there. I would however paint the center portion of my hood Titanium. That would be hot.

i agree ......no stripes, if you want something that will look good, try going to a vinyl graphics shop and tell them you want carbon fiber high performance vinyl 2mil thick printed on clear. when you lay it out on your car, the original color of the car will show through since it's printed on clear..looks just like wooven colored carbon fiber. i'll post pics soon of mine on my 2003.5 yellow, i have gotten alot of compliments, not to mention it doesn't look cheap. have you seen the hoods that come yellow / orange wooven carbon fiber? it looks identical to that and not that expensive. hey i just might wrap my entire car in that shit...that would look cool.....but no stripes

When I went to the dealership to buy mine I had the chioce between my Sunlight Silver MSP and a Yellow MSP..... the salesguy told me the Yellow one had a "sport package" on it which made it $650 more than the Silver one. I said "huh? (boom07) show me." He brought me to the car and showed me 2 big fat black stripes going up the hood, roof and down the trunk (omg) . I asked him if he realized this wasn't a mustang? He laughed and said "how about it?" I laughed and said "I'll take the silver".
I would have bought the yellow, but GOD those stripes were bad.... maybe it was just the colors though. Blue and Silver are WAY better.

i see lots of 2 dr ex civics with stripes down it, but i had a thought the blue n titanium might go well together... any other pics of "conservative" graphics on a laser blue msp? i mean i dont want a 9 foot neon chinese dragon breathing flames down the side of my car, but id like something a lil different then plain blue ....

Well here's mine with a painted hood and some graphics, the chrome vinyl does look nice, a mirror like effect in real life. If you're in the Northern VA Area I'd be Happy to show you. Hope yall like it. I'd tried to keep it slightly import looking and yet a little bit classy. *Fog lights on the way*

I'm gonna hafta say stripes are a helluva lot less rice than painting your hood black pretending to be CF. I think CF in general is rice though.

Hmmmm, I wonder who did your graphics, hint hint, read my sig everyone! P Tuner's hood looks sweet in real life, it's black mica paint, when it's clean and the sun hits hit, looks real nice!

I think some black or all black on the hood is ok, so long as they dont try to pass it as CF...I however, plan on getting Cf, and painting it similar style to that blue one there...but mine'll be evo stlye...either way, looks nice...and so do those graficks,
