Ok, the options pricing they have on MazdaUSA.com is insane!

Example: To get side impact/curtain air bags ($450), you MUST get the Sport Package ($860) _AND_ the BOSE Audio package ($635) _AND_ the Power Moonroof ($700).

So, if you don't want to get killed in a side collision, it will cost you and extra $2645. But at least you can listen to a crappy stereo and look at the stars while you wait for the ambulance.

Tell the dealer exactly what you want and see what they can do. Also you may want to call up Mazda an mention that to them as a formal complaint. That is really damn stupid. Safety features should never be offered in packages with other crap only.
