Help?!

My g/f has an 03 ES and recently it has had some random stalling issues when the gas is hit from a standstill!! It'll be at the light and you hit the gas to go it sputters and stalls out. It is an AUTOMATIC?!? WTF?!!! Also on some mornings it will not start?! Any ideas what it could be or has this happend to any other proteges out there?

Side Note: The car has been taken to the dealership a couple actually and they can't find anything wrong with it!!

I can't help you out myself since I drive a manual. But if you do a search, there is a thread or 2 discussing this on the Protege5 board. IRC, no one had an explanation or resolution, but a couple of other people had the same issue.

my girl has a sunfire that did that. i changed the coil boxes and spark plugs....runs fine now.
