Hey there,

The company that developed the Front Mount Intercooler for ION now has a surplus of these kits available to you for a possible group buy!

I need a minimum of 10 people to get this thing going. The price will be $1250 in Canadian Funds shipped to anywhere in Canada and the Continental United States, taxes in!

The kit includes everything for installation:

- Stainless Steel Piping
- Silicones Hoses (Black or Blue)
- Stainless T-Blot Clamps
- Intercooler Core (24"Lx6"Hx3.5"W)

My car was the testbed for this kit and I must say it is awesome. I don't have the dyno sheets anymore but I gained about 20 horse power at the wheels.

I want to know how you got 30whp from a kinetic fmic when turbo magazine only got like 15whp from the ion kit. That's odd considering they ARE THE SAME FUCKING THING. Did you forget to mention you got 30whp after you turned the boost up to 12psi. Oh did you hear I got 60whp from my perrinf fmic.

Hey I just edited, the dyno sheets in the ION group buy is MY CAR. Its a peak of 18whp gain, relax. Jeez.

My bad. I am only human, I make mistakes.

As of this second with the exchange its $1022.33. I'm sure this will be done through Money Order or Credit Card when the official group buy launches, the banks will do the conversion for you.

No there is no affiliation with the ION group buy and as you can see the website and company are completley legitamite. There will be no delays involving shipping at all. If you look around their website you'll find photos of the shop and their personal dyno room, you'll also see photos of past, current, and future projects, and you can browse through the number of published articles based off what the shop and it's members have accomplished.

everyone should of just bought the fmic from Kinetic Motorsport from the get-go and told ion to FUCK-OFF!!!(dunno) all ion (jack) was doing was marking up products that he doesnt produce and giving the forums HUGE lead times.

I don't know about that one. I got mine for $925.

I didn't even know kinetic existed. I was trying to get ahold of an ion fmic, but I didn't want to go through the hastle of waiting 3 months or so to get it. Why did no one ever say anything about it?

Anyways, I'm pretty happy with my SMIC setup, but I've always been eyeing this kit. If more people sign up, I may be in for one too.

Yikes, nevermind, I looked at the list price, and $1150 USD is not appealing at all, considering you can get a hiboost kit with a BOV or BEGi kit for considerably less. It still beats Perrin though as far as price goes.

Would it be possible to get this with a flange for a GReddy Type S BOV welded on instead of the stock BPV setup?

I think they're selling them as-is. You can always take it to a local welder and get it done for about $60 plus the pice of the flange. I had to do that with my turbohoses hardpipes.

Yea, don't knock Jack for Marking up the products. the "Ion" kit is cheaper... 995 shipped to me...

And yea, you can just find a local metal guy to weld on your flange. Around here they chanrge 70 and hour....just make sure they know how to work with SS

so the company who makes them has a surplus, yet you need at least 10 people to get this going???
