MSP Transmission problems

I am new to the forum and I just wanted to know the story on the MSP transmissions. Are they extremely weak, or is it a clutch problem?

Well, a combination of both. The stock clutch doesn't like anything over 12 psi boost. And the weakest point in the transmission is 3rd and 4th gear. Unless ou are planning ot go all out racing, it should not worry you too much!!

The Tranny in it Manual form for the FS-20 is strong, as stated, my stock clutch failed quickly after I started to play with higher boosts levels. ACT StageIIr is a great street clutch that will hold up to "They Say" 250 Ft/Lb It's on my car, and I'm planning for at least 15 PSi until it fails, then the fun will begin...
