Won't work with catylitic converters...none of them will, excpet for ones that use propane.

what about if you have obx headers that bypass the cat??

you still got a cat after the header i believe, if i'm thinking right obx headers only by pass the first cat, not the second

if i am not mistaken all i have is one cat and a resignator.. i have the 1.6


i was just curious if our 4 bangers could do it, we had a camaro in the shop today that could do it, but it has a 350 tuned port injection engine.

it doesn't work on a n/a 4 or 6 cylinder. Even if you have no cat's. Mine would pop from time to time when I ran the header-back w/o cats..But thats occasionally..To make a big fireball, you have to run propane. That's just the way it is.

The one from autoloc is set to cut ignition momentarily, thus making the mixture rich. Don't know if it yields better results.

As had been said already, its not really worthwhile doing on a 4 banger especially a 1.6 there just isnt enough gas coming out to get a nice flame. The only way is with propane and then you are just asking to get your ass blown up.
