I was wondering who has gotten a 30k service and what they actually got replaced. I know the manual says spark plugs & air filter at 30k and the rest at 45k. But what about timing, fuel filter, or anything else? I dont want to spend money on things that are not a necessity. Thanks.

check your brakes if you have not had them replaced. Just change 'em.
I also cleaned my air filter (it was 25k after installation), plugs, and of course oil/filter. I also took the opportunity to lube all locks and hinges w/ silicone lube.
You not need to change the fuel filter or transmission fluid screen (filter).

dealerships do air filter, oil/filter, tire rotation, cabin air filter if you gots it, and spark plugs, plus an inspection, which includes a battery check (load test) well atleast whats what we do at my work...

depends on a dealership, best way to pull out the spark plug or air filter and look at it (not that hard) many dealerships do not want to spend a penny on a car that they need to sell, they want you to spend money on maintanence later heh

Oooor...you could just look at the service record in the smaller warranty booklet. If they are keeping up, it will be recorded. You should also have receipts, though.

No warranty booklet, but will a dealership print out a service record of your car for free?
