I searched for an answer to this but could not find anything.

Today I finished installing my new smic and hard pipes, went to try it out and the car wouldnt start. There were only a few electrical connections that I disconnected and I double checked all of em. I disconnected the negative battery terminal before starting the install so nothing was live. THough when I recconected the battery my horn honked, is that normal? I think I may have just blown a fuse, any ideas?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks
Shaun

what does it do? Does it crank over? Just click? Does the check engine light come on with the key on engine off?

sounds like something to do with your alarm. look in the owners manual about your alarm.

it sounds like your alarm has disabled your starter, close the doors lock the car with the remote and then unlock it twice and retry starting it, bet it works

its so nice to see how many people actually read their cars manual!!! but its funny to see how a small thing can freak you out... specialy if the car doesn't start..
