tailpipe flames

i was driving last night with my car really cold , take off playing around and in 1st gear boost like 9 psi the go to shift and my car backfires...... nothing unusual until i get home and my roomate who was behind me when i left said i shot a 3 foot wandering flame out of the tailpipe..... i guess i am running super rich when my car is cold....... just figured i would see if i am special

Your car should run richer when its cold....but you should also let it warm up before you go around boosting it.

at 8psi full throttle :)

ya mine was 8 or 9 psi and then it did it again at 13 psi in 3rd gear like 5 minutes later
i just thought it was interesting.......
