Yeah I lost my brakes today. Went to stop and the pedal went right to the floor. I guess its my master cylinder. Anyone else have fun with that?

My master cyl is leaking. It might have been from the wreck, not sure. I just hope I can fix it before they go out. I can see the leaking brake fluid trickling down and stripping the paint off the black part of the master cyl.

Is your MC on the firewall? The way they explained it to me was that it was pretty much the thing that held the fluid.
No leaks. Thats whats making me mad about this situation. I dont understand brakes so starting there might help but its dry My e bake light was commig on when I was braking a week or so ago. Added more fluid and it stopped now this.

MC is on your firewall.. most of the time, they internals in the mc is what goes out, not leakin.. go check and follow alll the brake lines and make sure there is no leakage..
do this, get in your car.. pump up the brake pedal until it is hard then hold it.. Does it go down slow , or does it stay firm?

Yeah it was pretty sucky. I forgot that I was in a manual and that I could downshift. I wasnt going very fast but I wasnt very happy about it.
