What are speed sensing wipers? Is it meant to say rain-sensing? Or is it wipers that wipe faster as you go faster on the highway?

Also on the GT package what does the "advanced keyless entry and start system" really consist of?

Anyone know what the mileage specs are?

Mazda is finally using their card based system which has been on Concept cars for like 6 billion years.

No LSD on the front, and they don't mention what type of LSD regardless.

The faster you go, the faster they go.

i just hope they change the style of it because the pics of the MS6 from the autoshow were alright. i think the sport edition of the current 6 looks better.

I agree. The mazdaspeed6 doesn't really look sportier, although the moist metalic silver is a nice color.

The version they showed was a European model. There *may* be changes for the NA market.

A bitch of a lot of money, especially if you are male and live in Québec even if your driving record is clean, no accidents, no tickets, no points lost etc etc. Nothing is certain except for death and taxes

Why would cost more to insure than the regular 6 sedan aside from the car costing more than the regular 6?

Because its a high performance turbocharged vehicle. It falls under the same catagory as the Sti or the Evo in regards to insurance.

Sorry for my ignorance but what are the Sti and Evo?

STI = Subaru (Impreza) WRX STI (based off the World Rally Championship version)
EVO = Mistubishi (Lancer) Evolution VIII (also WRC based)

lol I have them on my Caravan. When you're at a red light on interval setting, the wipers move less often than when you're traveling 20km/h or faster. No big deal.

ah yes, that would be VERY nice to have. I even installed the 626 wiper control stalk just to have more wiper control (Interval) than the stock stalk allowed.

Can I get a hunger sensing option on the mazdaspeed6? I'd like it to make me dinner when I'm hungry.

I'm sorry sir, the vehicle's electrical system cannot handle the output requirements of a microwave oven. However, we do offer this handy crock pot!

speed sensing wipers...will they also be rain detecing as well?

yep one question asked is if the car has a turbo/supercharger. I tried t pass off a srt 4 as a regular neon and that did'nt go well cause once you run the vin the engine type comes up as "2.4 HO dohc Turbo I" and quoite was $2000 more.

the wiper function is actually very helpful, i had a rental car that did it. Took me a bit to realize it, but it was worth it, i realized. What it needs is an autocleaning windshield

In the US, there's a special edition Mazda3 that is either out yet or will be coming out soon (2005 model) that has rain sensing wipers.

Yeah the Cdn 3 has the rain sensing wipers. Word is that they suck. Apparently they aren't that great at sensing how hard it is raining. I've heard alot of 3 owners say they would rather have reg int wipers.
