Oil

well i hate to ask, but when my car was broken into they stole my owners manual.

how much oil do we take im thinkint 4 1/2 quarts but i want to be sure and what do we use 10w30 or 5w30. thanx for the help anybody hopefully my car will be getting fixed next week.

also what oil is everybody running all my buddies run mobil 1 synthetic, and i was thinking about running it also.

There are two different schedules listed in the Protege book. A standard one and another one for more "extreme conditions" such as high humidity areas, etc. Which schedule were you following? or hadn't you even got that far to look?

ya i know there are the 7,500 and 5,000 milage schedules. but that scares me to go that long. i have 11,000 on the car right now. i think im still going to change my oil at every 3,000 though
