Here's the deal. I am going to be losing my car on Friday. It is a long long story. To sum it up, due to being behind a few payments from a bankruptcy, they cancelled us. We got screwed over big time by this bancruptcy deal. It seems that they weren't making all of our payments but it was Ok between them and Mazda. Now, we find out know that Mazda credit wants us to pay the amount past due which is like $2900 by this friday. We didn't know that they lowered the payments for the car because of the bancruptcy and it wasn't supposed to be done that way. Now we find out that Mazda wants everything that is past due plus all kinda fees. Its insane!

They are not willing to work with us at all. I could come up with the $2900 over the next two months but thats not good enough for them. They say we owe a total of like $14k on the car. I said thats crazy and to come and get it cause I can buy a used one with half the miles of my p5 and in much better shape for like 9-10 grand. So, since Mazda Credit isn't willing to work anything out with us, they can come get the p5 that they might get $5k for this Friday. I will just start looking at getting another car. Not sure what I am going to get. Mazda has really pissed me off this time and I am not sure if I every will drive one again.

I have 4 new toyo proxes 4's on the car right now with about 200-300 miles on them. I paid $315 mounted and balanced for them. I am looking to trade for p5 wheels with stock tires in any condition. My rims aren't in that great of shape but keep in mind this is for someone who already has rims and is looking for a good winter set. I would like to get $200 out of trade. These are really good tires that will work great in winter. This trade has to be done by Thursday at the latest.

If you are intereted please call me at 712-215-1233.

Thankyou all for the kind words and support. I can honestly say that eventhough I loved my P5 and it was a great car to us, this incident makes me think hard about getting another Mazda. Kinda sucks cause I am the President of a Mazda Car Club. I will have to see how things go over the next few months.

Yeah, I already plan on driving it hard. Believe me, Mazda is the one losing out. They are gonna have a hard time selling a 02 P5 with almost 78k miles on it that needs new brakes, endlinks ( right now it goes clunkity clunk when you drive it, and a clutch. I had all this in the works to get fixed in the next month. It also needs a paint job as there is hail damage on it and a dent on the roof where the paint is coming up. Kinda sucks I just put new springs on it too. If I had time, I would take those off too.

Kinda funny, I had it planned to get a new paint job this winter with a body kit but hey, now I can spend that cash on a new car.

They even tried to scare my fiance, as it is her car, by telling her that they where going to put a note on the account that would prevent her from claiming it on a bankruptcy. LOL. My lawyer said B.S.!(thumb) He said to call them and tell them you are recording the call and ask them to repeat what they said.

So next week we will be filin a chapter 7. Kinda sucks but if anyone has been through hard times like being disabled from work, getting jacked for tons of child support, or laid off, sometimes this is what you have to do to be able to start over.

well, good luck through this all, as I know financial hardships really suck ass, and it's good that you have a lawyer who is trust worthy, and is helping you out. I hope all goes well, and have fun thursday night. Give it to them on an empty tank to. When they come get it, tell them to hold on for a second, and ciphon all the gass out, and drain any other fluids you paid for. Remove EVERYTHING you possibly can, without getting into more trouble
