Welp, I had been having sporadic problems with the headunit - you know, the usual ending up stuck in the half open position. Usually, I can fix the prob with the reset button.
A few days ago, I turn on my car, and nothing happens with the headunit. Eventually, it flips to othe half-open position, and stays. Tried the old reset button. Nothing. Carefully wiped the contacts on the faceplate, tried it again, nothing. Checked the fuse and it's fine.
Does it sound like a trip to the dealer? Or does anyone know yet another trick that I'm missing?
Thanks in advance
Brian

Hey guys,
Thanks for the quick responses. If money wasn't tight, of course I'd love to buy a cool new headunit with the DVD player and the 7 inch LCD screen. Howsevah, gotta save up money (buying a new house). THAT and the fact is that I really can't complain about the headunit at all. It's not the best headunit out there (obviously), but hey....for a stocker I would have to say that it's pretty friggin awesome.
Thanks
Bri

Took it in... Ordered a new one. I asked about anything being back ordered and they told me that nothing came up. I can expect it in a week or two. We'll see how it turns out. I hope I can do something to get my cd back!
