I've heard of a few people boosting high stock but 10 to 12 is nutz! I'll ask around and see if someone has some answers.

Your internal actuator is not opening. You either have a bad Vac line to it, or a bad actuator. I know a few people had thier actuators go bad, and ALOT have bad Vac lines.

If you feed from the intake manifold, then it can't be the boost gauge. You should check your vac line to the wastegate (from the T), it is really crappy and you may find a split if you feed from there. I strongly suspect that you have a leak somewhere.

I just had my second turbo replaced for this reason. First one was sticking open...no boost=suck
This one was sticking closed...lots of boost=fun until boom, then suck.
I think boostisgood is right on with the vac line or actuator.

check the vacuum line on your bypass valve. my car did that when that hose was popped off/coming off. if that's the case just put it back on or hell leave it off it ya want!
