I think you should probably browse the threads and run a search on posts that have already been made before asking questions like this. There are a crapload of threads answering this question... not to mention a ton of differing opinions....

but my two cents are to start with air flow mods first... all mods begin with increased air flow... intake, turbo-back exhaust, and perhaps a bigger intercooler if you have the money... THEN start looking into other mods.

definitely an intake and downpipe would be great first upgrades and cost about $550 shipped for both. I personally like the AEM intake and I have the Apex downpipe because I got them used, and they are good quality pieces, but if I were to get a new intake I would get the Perrin short-ram, which you can get at www.*************** (http://www.***************) talk to Cullen and tell him that I sent you. You might try to search for some used units, the prices are usually very good. I think I spent $300 for both by going with used product. Also go to a muffler shop and have them put together a 3" exhaust with a high quality muffler, I have the Borla Sportsman 3" inlet and 3" outlet, and with the downpipe it sounds really good.

Another option would be to search "MSP upgrades" it should pull up a bunch of results. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.
