Got a little extra $$ and can't decide between the two. Any input's appreciated.

I voted for the mani spacer kit, and don't have a clue what it is. Wanna fill me in?

they're made of a insulating material. it's too help prevent heat from the block from being transferred back to the intake. it helps keep intake air temps down slightly. i say get the spacer kit.

in all honesty I dont see how a spacer kit will make a noticable difference in performance, and it cannot be seen under the hood, so IMO the SS is the better idea, you will grin with every shift I am sure.

The spacers and coolant bypass will offer a performance increase especially when both spacers and the coolant bypass is done. Drops temps down 10-15 degrees further preventing knock also. By far get the intake manifold gasket and throttlebody spacers.

As tempting as the SS is I went ahead and ordered the spacer kit. I remember reading somewhere around here that a NA 4cy Probe got 3-4hp from phenolic spacers, so I'm hoping this'll be good for 5 more to the wheels and maybe lessen the chances of knocking. The TB coolant bypass is already done on my car. All it takes is 20 minutes and needle nose pliers. SS will go in next pay check, I think.
