I'm going to be sitting here waiting for more pics of this thing installed.
Where is the FMIC? Is it possible to get the midpipe and downpipe done in 3"? Any reason for only 2.5"?

We are working on a 3" right now.The reason for the 2.5" is fitment over the 4bolt flange and room.We are working on a 3" V-band DP setup and midpipe.

The fuel rail is sitting up on the drivers side strut mount, you can see it there, but it wont be installed for another couple days until Beau can get me the rest of the fittings for the line.
I will be running one though.

few more pics from today. got the dp mounted up and wastegate, placed the PWR radiator in, placed the sweet ass 12' spal fan on the radiator and then didnt ge tto much else. As you can see it was raining most of the day and i only got a little done today.
All that is left is to do the timing and connect some electrical connectors and wire the wideband 02 sensor in the dp and thats about it.
Im hoping for a start tomorrow or wednesday.

When the aem is ready, i will undoubtedly go with that and sell you the haltech.

Also, did you check the thermostat before you put everything back together? Hopefully it's not damaged. Are the fans coming on enough? Of course, running lean will up the temp a lot.

I see that the kit is capable of producing 500 plus hp but how efficient is that FMIC? I would think you would need a larger one to get every ounce of power correct?

The current intercooler will support 500HP.We are a larger intercooler for those wanting more, however ou have to cut the bumper support to make it fit.

more......i can't even fathom more than that on a 4 cly motor. I am not familiar with installing kits....
What do you recommend purchasing along with this kit (Clutch, internals, Exhaust)?
RyanJayG
11-04-2004, 10:28 PM
clutch, internals, exhaust, EMS (the AEM is the best ;) ), and possibly new coils and CDI box depending on how much power you really want.
ofcourse incidentals like gaskets and bearings need to be replaced when rebuilding as well.

lol not yet. you really crack me up man. I was demonstating the sound of the turbo/ bov for the camera. I didnt proclaim the video to show the utter speed of the car.
the car does pull good. I am running stock ecu with 9 psi on that turbo. 9 psi!!! 9 psi doesnt ieven spool that thing. When i get it tuned for 17-20 then you guys will see the speed.
Just stay posted.
And i cant run it in the winter lol

azian6er so you are only running 9 psi? What did you do so far as internals and clutch.....did you have to replace the shafts? I am just wondering since the hp is past the stocks capability of handling that amount of power. Well, that is, once you up the boost....
