need help on a cel light pls!

Yeah my friend has a 96 626 and his cel light goes on and off. so i decided to read the codes with a scanner but i couldnt find the obd connector under the dash, my question is, where is it?? or do i have to jump wires together?

It's under the dash somewhere on the driver's side, all 1996's have ODB-II
