Here goes didn't have a pop can near...just the california water blade. use the top of it to judge the height of the lower fog delete plates. also notice the space from the fender to the tire using the handle depth...P.S. I alread know the filter needs changing ;) Post more picts later...

shrink the pictures first, or take them at a lower resolution...that will fix it...

Da 6

yeah never shot pictures with the camera so didn't realize they were huge till I myself (56K) got pwned in loading....I'm resizing the other 5-6 so you can compare the front to my sig pic(which I now notice is huge!)

*edit* loading again...(wiggle) took forever and a day so I picked the better picts to condense...

Nice Allan, Damn your tires look HUGE compared to mine LOL. Yo, even though I have 19's and only a 1.2 inch drop with the Tanabes mine look about as low as yours if not lower. Haha

that BR lip makes it lower man ;) the can is like 3 nickels from tuching the lowest part of my lip and I still scrape! Lane changing is way dirfent now. you literaly can take lane quicker on highway speeds and certain bends of the road. I have to go to that twisty backroad to fully see what a difrece it is.

P.S. my 16's look like 17's when it's parked by it's self (lol) thats a over the winter project cause my rims money went twards me moving out of D.C.

i noticed that in the curves too, the only thing holding my back in the curves now is tire traction... i need sticker tires :(

i SHOULD NOT be able to take a 90 degree turn, hit the gas, and feel my ass-end slide...but maybe thats just my sway bar...

I have to do 60 and turn left then right then left to loose my back end...after recovering from understeer. michelins are shot but I can't take decent picts of them for some reason. I autoxed stock height and lowered and there is a difrence and way less body roll in the picts.

YOur drop looks awesome man, makes me want to drop my car soo badly, but I am having second thoughts do to miserable road conditions here, every bump would feel to harsh.

Consider coilovers then. They tend to have a much smoother ride vs just springs, as the shocks are valved to the spring rate.

Da 6
10-29-2004, 09:41 AM
mickey..get another set of front shocks ;) be a hell of a lot eaiser to return car to stock when you ned to give it back... compressing the fronts are a job in itself. the rear isn't any eaiser when bolts won't line up or come loose w/o impact wrench. I spent 4 hrs in the rears and swapped front struts with stretch so the fronds didn't need compresson just pull and re install. I managed to go airborn yesterday on an arlington subdued speed bump. They really ned to mark those things especialy in shaded ares.

Or get the Tanabe NF's. They keep the stock feel and at a 1.2 inch drop it'll give you a nice drop. I still feal alot of the road due to my 19's and 35 series low profile Azenis but I'm sure that when I switch back to stockies soon it'll pretty much fell the same as it did with stock springs. Here's a couple of pics of the drop.

Sorry Allan, not tryin to jack your thread...

Comparison shot, remember though I have the BR lip which makes the front about an inch lower so my front is actually about 2.2 inches low.

cars to high

Da 6
11-20-2004, 08:24 PM
? I scrape on everything how is it too high (use pepsi can for refrence)? I just bottomed out on a speed bump 2 hrs ago at 6 mph. I have to back into some spots so I don't rip off the appearance lip. Every mod you di is going to have some negative affect so don't let my comments make you afraid to mod your car. You can take medicine for an upset stomache but side afects cause cramping, runs, and if you cut yourself it won't clot. also the lip kit does not protrude below the factory bumpers or side stils. They reverse the curves and give you a lowered appearance at stock height and a slammed look when lowered.

Pict below is the tread above fender(nothing in trunk) with subs and other stuff it almost another inch. handle of waterblade handle(shown in pict) is the stock wheel gap of tire to fenter

Yeah everone is teasing me with picts of 6's with rims...In due time I'll have mine. My main concern is the engine right now. No struts blown yet...when they do I should have the speed set to compress(more fun!)

Da 6
01-15-2005, 02:20 AM
Before I begin...the folowing pictures were tuched up only to remove the dirt cause washing the car(at these temps) isn't the best thing to to do ;) I recently grabed a set of Stock 17's from (Crosbow) to replace my Warped 16'"(Accident lil while back) wrapped in bald michelins. Rims really change the whole apearance of a car! Also The clear tails are of good quality(Mazda made) so there is no filiment issues and the chrome doesn't look like the apc sprayed on to plastic crap. Pictures on the internet cannot capture the full beauty of them. Only reason I think of swaping out for tinted chrome versions is everyone has these tails now since they are the only ones out there of good quality. Pictures also don't capture the full effects of lapis blue metalic color shifting. pictures may show 50%-65% of the color change when light hits it. Sit back and enjoy the scaled down pictures...

not much sacrifice from drop nor swaping to a 50 series from 60 series. lipkit is appearance package minus wear wing(optional to have wing but It was already built and on the lot). usualy the 16's aloy chrome exhaust tips power 8way seat and alarm(that requires upgrade senser to actualy be functional) come with. Lucky Me I got the floor mats too
