It all depends on your pipe routing as far as width is concerned. 3-3.5" thick and 6-6.5"tall is about as big as you can go. I've been having problems finding a core that is wide enough(for me) and shares the above dimensions. You'll be safe with 3"thick x 6"tall though.
iON uses a 24"wide core, BEGI uses an 18", HiBoost is 22" IIRC.

mine's 6.5 inches high and i had to cut my bumber. it was just a bit too tall. 6 inches should be perfect.

i had a custom one made ... its 20" wide by 8" tall
we had to cut a bit of the bumper support though. and the guy who took the measurements did a bad job ... we had to trim a bit of the radiator to center it as much as possible. i think that if you dont mind cutting a bit of the bumper support bracket, you can go with a 22 x 8 easily
if i had to redo it, i would go with a 24 x 8 to be able to upgrade my radiator because my engine gets a bit hot sometimes.
Hiboost has an 18 x 8 core i think ... ion's is 24 x 6.5 (or 6)

And how much will just the IC cost from you?
Thanks

yes, the intercooler sits just below the bumper support, no cutting, no clearance issues. but trust me, this is the absolute largest core you can fit without cutting shit. (unless your end tanks are uber tiny)

There is no trimming needed.it's the biggest you can get without cutting. It's a very tight fit.
The intercoolers are on sale for the Month of November.Retail is $625.They are on sale for $450 to your door.

$450 doesn't sound like a bad price....

Hmm, that's a nice price on the IC itself. Might be time to decide whether or not to go custom soon!
