changing headlights

looking for information on how to change headlights on a 98 mazda protege. tried to take off rubber cap on back of light, but I felt like if I pulled any harder something might break. what am i doing wrong?

IIRC you have to push and turn, counter clockwise i think, might be wrong

on my 96 there is like a little spring or keeper bif you wil, holding the light in place you have to push it in and up to release it

The spring was the trick, it was a little difficult to manage but i finally was able to get them changed. Thanks for the help

when i changed my headlights i thought it would be easy, but, it was my first time changing the bulbs so i wasnt sure how to get those duds out of there.So i took off my whole headlight assembly and finally saw the little thing that was making such a big ordeal was a little spring :cool: (rockon)
