I bought my MSP last year around this time because I needed a car desprately and I wanted something that was equipped with things that I woulnt have to buy aftermarket to make it look cool. When I bought it I had so many high hopes of doing so many things to it, it was crazy and guess what I have done...nothing(pissed). and if that is not enough just a couple of days ago I bought something that takes away the whole thrill that the MSP gave me when I first bought it and guess what that is...a 2004 Yamaha YZF-R6 ( I love it!!!) best rush I have ever had. But now I'm in a delima...I want to sell my car. it only has 24k perfect inside out. But since I cant look in the MD Black Book (kinda like the NADA and KBB) to find the value of the car I dont know what I should be asking for it bc I dont want to roll over too much money when I buy my new car (2005 Honda Accord...only because I work for Honda...and my wife loves them.) but at the same time I want to sell it pretty soon. What do you think that I would be able to sell if for? Its in pretty good condition.

"pretty good"? Hmm...I'd say between 12-15k.
I'd keep the MSP. It will be worth more the less you do with it.

You're gonna ride a bike through the winter? Doesn't it snow in MD? I say at least keep the car until next year, and see if you feel the same way. I want a bike too, but I'd never be able to give up the conveinience of protection from the elements, and room for 4 with a nice sized trunk.

I think he's selling the MSP to get the Accord and the R6 will be secondary. Nice bike by the way. As far as value on the Speed goes, there are guys on here who are having a hard time selling them for more than 15k. I recall someone awhile back getting 17k for his and I had someone offer me 17k for mine, but nobody around here will give you that kind of money. Just search the for sale section in the market place on this board and you'll find 5-10 there to give you an idea where you stand. Good luck.

Well, you'll definitely get more selling it to an individual. Let some punk kid scoot it around the block, and he'll gladly sell his mother's soul to get it!

I just got rid of my R6 this year. The bike is awesome!! Boy do I miss it:( Keep the car though, you really arent going to find anything else in its price range that this car has to offer especially the handling.
Lots of good things being said about the R6. I may have to reserve one for this spring.
