I have a brand new shift knob from a 2003.5 MazdaSpeed Protege. It was a replacement that the dealer gave me, but it was only on for about 1 week since it won't fit my short-shifter. I will post pics if you need, but they all look the same.
I personally like this WAY better than the stock 2003 Sparco knob. It's heavier and has more girth, and it gives shifts a much more solid feel (also vibrates less).

Yep, it's the one with the yellow MazdaSpeed logo on the top. I am taking some pics really quick, and Pat pm'ed me right away, so he's got dibs if he wants it.

Ha, I have no idea. I wish I could give you a definite "yes", but I'm not sure what the threading is like on them.

If you plan on ever getting a short-shift and you want to use a knob like this, specify the MSP version of the shifter. I believe that the section above the "shoulder" on the shifter needs to be longer for this to screw on.

The knob is sold.
