Another blown engine

too bad it didnt happen cuz i was boosting more then i should be. it blew cuz the mazda dealership fucktards didnt tighten the drain plug. so i got an oil change at the dealership yesterday morning, after driving it for a few miles i noticed that the oil light was on when i stoped at a traffic light, i accelerated and the light went off. after 3-4 traffic lights the light wouldnt go away and i started hearing knocking, so i pulled over and saw all the oil leaking from my car(by the time i pulled over the car had almost NO oil in it ) . now i know i should have pulled over the first time i saw the light but i didnt:(. i got it towed to the dealership this morning, im waiting for a call from them. BTW the engine was still idling normal when i pulled over.

fuck just got a call they said they put all back everythings normal.. they dont hear any knocking, and he said i have 28k left on my warranty if i hear knockin i can bring it back..
what shall i do ?? i think this is BS.

ok updates: i just calle them back they told me its idling normal,driving normal. they dont think its damages at all cuz i had synthetic in it . and they told me i can come back later if i hear knocking or have any problem. i cant get them to put a new engine in it :(

Call MNAO, explain what happened, explain that you feel the dealership did not perform a full inspection (did they tear down the motor? no.), and explain that you are concerned over problems down the line do to a dealer's negligence.

i called mnao and they told me the same shit as the dealershit.
basically they said they dont run more tests.. they just idle drive it around and if everytings normal they wont tear up the enigne.
thyre telling me to come back if anything happens ..

I would have to say they are. The dealer forgot to put the drain plug back in, and most or all of his oil leaked out. They can't possibly place any blame on him.

You gotta be persistent, and demand a complete inspection. Threaten legal action if necessary.

i said im goin to boost 20psi :) to pop the engine and have them install a new one.
my car only had an intake and exhuast the mbc that u see in my signuter wasnt installed yesterday

At least they fixed your engine...I took off my MBC before they came to tow it and they said my warranty was voided because of my intake and FMIC. They told me that any aftermarket mod (i.e. boost gauge, etc.) would void the warranty.

the engine is probably still ok...i remember a long time ago when i 1st got my car boosted some fucker on the turnpike had his muffler duct taped on and it decided to fall off his car and straight into my oil pan, needless to say i immediately turned the car off and came to a stop, and the engine was fine...plus he said you have 28k left on the warranty, if something is wrong it will go wrong way before that...

You won't get them to put a motor in because it ran low on oil, there fault or not. If it has correct oil pressure and there is no audible detection, then there is no reason to teardown. You boost the motor and make it blow is defiently the stupidest thing to do at this point. A rod bent in a half-moon, or a piston burnt through due to detonation would not happen due to lack of oil, they know this, even if you don't. An engine dying due to lack of oil is usually a slow, painful death.

if you have detonation or bad knocking, you would have gotten a CEL. not to mention it would have been a flashing CEL.

and good luck trying to blow the motor....
it'll be sad if you boost 20psi, blow it, goto mazda, and they figure out you were boosting way over and you have to pay. (owned)
