Manumatic Conversion

Hey,
i was wondering if anyone knew if it were possible to switch from a three speed automatic on a 2.0L 2002 protege to a 5 speed manumatic gear box. i would probly go through mazda/manufacturing dept to see if i can purchase a manumatic gear box from a different model. if its possible, how long would it take to swap out and how much technical expertise would i need to do so??? thanx in advance for all the replies.

I don't know how hard it is, but it'll be pretty costly, since you'd need at least the new transmission and ecu.

you mean 4-speed automatic right? =), why do you want to do this, your car won't be any faster...
