If I take the oil pan off , can I re-use the same oil pan gasket? or do I need to buy a new one before I take the oil pan off?

There is no gasket. The factory uses hi-temp silicone. Just clean the old gasket off (read: scrape with a razor blade) and re-apply a new one. I have done it a few times........very easy. Good luck.

as for helping remove it, gasoline eats silicone.... but make sure you do it safely

I made a trip to Advanced Auto Parts and ordered a cork gasket for the oil pan, they said that the cork gasket is a good option. I will check it out in the morning and see what the deal is. If anyone has heard of a cork replacement , let me know.... thanks guys....

then before applying the new sealant make ABSOLUTE sure that its clean from all oil/grease.....if there is the slightest film there....you WILL have a leak..

wipe it down with alcohol before the final application and install
