at the risk of sounding like a total ass.. how come a bubble hatch with a full interior can run 10.2 and we cant? i would think maybe a mam built block n thumper kit set at 30psi tuned with some big ass 880cc injectors would do it. the civic like i said has a full leather interior with a t3 at 27psi and no lsd on a ls vtec. of course he is tuned and all but still. it just seems we could hit tens with money and tuning.

Cause everyone is ponanny and wont turn the boost up. mainly cause the tranny wont make it down the track :p

but i finally broke 12s.. with the ultimate mod.. evolution upgrade kit ;-)

makes me wonder what my car can do now that its rebuilt properly ... prior to my rebuild, i hit 103.5mph with worn out potenzas for a whoppin 14.2 lol ... i might swing by the race track next tuesday and see if i can get it into the mid 13s ... that'd be awesome.

what kinda tires do you have?

Just wanted to update my time. 14.91 at 92.5 mph. CAI and corksport exhaust are mods. Was a 100 degrees out too. Kinda sucked.

With your mods, I'd think you'd be higher... What boost were you at? I did a 14.448@98.3 mph on 10psi with everything in my sig minus the MAM exhaust manifold and 60mm TB on full street trim, including my big-ass sub box and 35psi in each tire.

Bahh I hate the bradenton motorsports park, only got 3 runs in, still getting used to the new mounts. My best run, the one which i didnt bog out of the hole got messed up by the printer ( I swear ), they claimed it was due to the hurricanes.

60' - 2.414
1/8 - 9.364
1/8 mph - 82.50
1/4 - 14.170
1/4 mph - 102.45

Just out of curiosity, and no not all tracks are the same. About 75 or so degrees, I was launching 3.5k to 4k and I could'nt get the tires to break loose out of the hole. It would just jump and then bog a little, my a/f guage jumped lean while it was doing this. I believe the joe p. fcd is at fault, but this never happens on the street...so any thoughts / comments?

So ur having bogging problems, i have them man it sucks ass, but i haven't dragged, YET (headbang) , but it is really bad on hot days, i need to get rid of the studdering and bogging, any ideas?

I went 14.9 today. My first time on a track in a 5 speed. Not to shabby. Couldn't get it to hook up out of the hole. I found a way to bypass fuel cut, and cranked the boost up to 12 psi stable.

60 foot best of 2.2 and a high trap speed of 94 mph.

Alright went to the track for the first time this year tonight. Pulled a 14.6 @ 95 with a 2.3 60' on 7 psi then a 14.3 @ 97.5 with a 2.2 60' on 8 psi. Mods are CAI, TBE, and FMIC

No EMS yet, gonna order the DSM AFC and PG IM in the next couple weeks, was still reading 10.0 on AFRs though. Still think i could of gotten a tenth or two more out of it if i had gotten more runs in but they had 300+ cars there.

Went to the track again last night and improved a little bit over last time. Just thought i would post some time slips. They are a little hard to read but it was a 14.274 @ 96.78 and 14.364 @ 98.19

went to the track friday at pmi (pueblo motorsports park) and posted a personal best of 15.465 at 94.12 mph 2.494 60 ft time
running 9 pounds boost (wiggle) stock for the exception of a blitz blow off valve and blitz boost controller. this run improved my time by over a full sec. you should have seen the look on the mustang gt guys face as straightend up my baby seat at the line lol(lol2) he ran a pathetic 16.5 , i ran faster than that 100% stock on craptastic tires

Here is my slip. This was last year. I was running 10psi, BUT with a stud missing from my exhaust mani. NOW I have the MAM exhaust mani, and the PG intake mani, with the LT10 and some 550cc's going in, in about a week. I will be hitting the track again in about a month.

Oh, and custom Integral 268/268 cams will be comming in shortly. (yes)

good 60ft! Are you going to still use the stock turbo?
I will for now, but im considering either the GT28RS with the .86A/R, OR the GT2871 with the .86A/R. Im leaning more towards the GT2871, since its only like $50 more. And I think the GT2871 is the biggest turbo i can run with the MAM manifold, and keep the turbo at the factory location.

cool, I would go with the 2871R. You might as well since you have the cams to make the topend power etc..

very nice your almost into the 12s! Was that on street tires/ radials? Raise the boost a pound or two and hit 12s or use some slicks. What was you trap speed?

Thats on street tires and pump gas at around 15 psi. My traps were 108 with a 2.1 60' time.

All I can say is... that was so like 3 years ago.
I did that time exactly with a lower 60' on a non-built motor, factory turbo, lower PSI, and mods said below.

Well touch you. It's also about 100 degrees the day I ran. I see you have steelies on too, that helps. That isnt the fastest my car can run, it's just what it ran then. I could easily up the boost, put on slicks, or run some race fuel and 20 psi and easily be in the low 12's or high 11's.

I ran a 14.712 at Toronto Motorsports Park during the "Meeting of the Mazdas event (MotM). I run with a CustomMSP SMIC, Turbohoses Hardpipes, Forge BOV, Injen CAI, Greddy SP2, and Unichip @ 12psi.

Obviously this IS your fastest run, and you have nothing but a 'BLOWN Forged motor' to prove it - as per your sig.
You have to love a guy that puts so many BUTS into the equation to account why or how he could have done better.

whoops, added the AFC to my mod list. I sold the Unichip and picked up a v1 AFC a little over a year ago. Car always ran very well with the UC, but I wanted something I could tweak.

Went to the track and ran 13.53 @ 111 on 10psi and street tires, untuned.

Car was pretty sluggish up to about 500 feet, at which point the car freight trained to the posted time and trap speed. 3rd and 4th gear is such an awesome feeling.

She should go low 13's or high 12's with injectors, SAFC, and fuel pump.

I saw this with my own eyes, stock motor and turbo. Easily into the 13's with drag radials.

I believe he was at 15psi that day. He tried 18psi, but he couldn't keep the intake couplers from blowing off.

Yes, I was at 15 psi on a pretty rough tune. I was running around 11.8 a/f and didnt have much timing either... oh yea justin dont forget it was 98 degrees that day with track temps in the 130's!
