Hey guys!
I bought a stainless OBX/Forza Tuning header on eBay about a month ago, and I've decided not to put it on my 2002 Protege 5, though it will fit any 3rd gen 2.0 liter engine.
Don't get me wrong, the thing is gorgeous, and it's in perfect condition and still in its original packaging...I just don't have the money to spend on all the other stuff that goes with it.
I only want to get back what I paid for it, which was $190, plus $15 shipping. If anyone is interested, shoot me an email at wombatyenko@comcast.net, and we'll work out the details.
If I don't hear from anyone in a week or so, I'll go ahead and put it back on eBay, and I'll send you guys the link.
Take care!
~Ron

Alright, so I'm a lurker. I'm afraid no one here knows me, so I'll just have to take my chances.
Thanks, though!

what 'other' stuff? all you need is a resistor and capacitor (cel eliminator) from radio shack which run about $2.

Hehe...yeah, I know that stuff is cheap. I didn't want to replace the header without a high-flow cat and cat-back exhaust, though, so I figured I'd wait until I could afford the whole mess.
Here are some pics of the header. I never took it out of the plastic bag, so I apologize for the glare from it. I wanted to leave it as new as possible.

Yes, the gasket came with the header. It seems to be pretty high quality...steel sandwiched between fiber.

I'm in Columbia, Maryland...halfway between Baltimore and DC. I'd be happy to ship it to you for $15, though.

it eliminates the precat
I don't know much about the rep, but the build quality is very good, I was impressed with mine
no idea on recorded power gains but I'd guess at least 5+ whp and 5+ torque by ass dyno

:D Sold to me! Almost had it on this morning too! Dang spring loaded bolts! That was by far the most annoying part of the install - reinstalling the spring bolts
Finally got them to take by using a channel locks to compress the spring by squeezing the washer toward the flange and then using the deep socket to tighten it...
Or did you mean you couldn't get them off? For that I put the ratchet in place, held onto the car, and pushed with my foot ;)

It wouldn't come off. just one of them. I didn't feel like breaking the bolt off and driving 100+ miles to work today and tomorrow, and I wouldn't be able to fix it until friday...

Actually come to think of it, it helped to compress the spring the same way (with the channel locks) if you have someone who can lend a hand, while you unscrew the bolt, this way, you take the tension off the bolt and it should turn more easily
good lucks0rs
