bolt on upgrades for 97 LX

well as i have come ot notice exactly no one makes any parts for this motor (1.5) but i'm sure there has to be one company somwehre that makes somthing for it. so if anyone knows wehre i cna find any parts, intakes exaust parts ECt. please let me know, i just bought the car not too long ago and i'm ready to make it into somthing worth talkingabout.

check www.clubprotege.com (http://www.clubprotege.com) they have more 2 gens proteges there..you can buy intakes and do custom exhaust..most of the stuffs like on my second gen 97lx came from either japan or philippines...they have mazdaspeed version of our car there..

I don't see anything for a 2nd Gen Protege (95-98) at these sites. Is there a special section in these places that I'm missing.

For Toda the Miata section campulleys can be used for the gen 2, while for Simota the have a part locator or just send them an e-mail

the miata cams/campulleys can only be used with the 2nd gen bp or the b6 engines. they wont work with the z5
