Got my Hiboost fmic today and am currently installing it. Ive run into a roadblock and anticipate a couple more. Im working on the intercooler out to throttle body now. (I love how instructions have no clear pictures of this part) I just cant seem to make them fit, it seems like one of the pipes is to long. Has anyone else run into this, and what did u do to make them fit?

And now the other roadblock next in line.....where the fuck does the bracket go, a picture would b nice.

Im so frustrated Im about ready to box this thing up and send it back.

Search for the HiBoost install threads other members have made. ARunto's has lots of pictures.

Just read his, it may help with pipes. Nothing about the bracket though.

Relax the install takes a while. You are making a pretty substantial change to your car, it's not like you are adding a new shift knob. I do know how you feel though. The pictures are worthless in the instructions.

i just installed mine this past friday, you have to just mess with the pipes until you can get them to fit, to me it seemed like a few were too short, but i ended up figuring it out.

Yes the pics are not too good.

try putting the pipe on the tb 1st then to the other side? dunno never seen the setup, but this is how i normally do it, put it on the TB 1st and then to the other pipe.

There is a hole with a rubber piece in it right below the radiator. you put the bracket in there and screw the two screws that came from the original IC into the two holes in the radiator. Its kinda hard to get to...be patient.

That's the one I'm guessing he's talking about. It helps to have someone lift the weight off the radiator while you try to get the bracket it.

Yeah that is the hard part. It was a bitch to try to hold it up and screw it in at the same time. Also, that damn splash guard was pissing me off. (bang)

Also in the directions it doesn't mention the bracket anywhere.

Thx for info guys. I have been reading and running down to car to look at. Ive got the pipes, radiator fan and brackets installed now. Working on the bov now. I ordered the SSQ with it and had them weld a spot on so I could run the dual setup. Now I just need some o-ring pliers and bolts for the bov. But i am making progress . (thumb)

Make sure you put the fan back in before putting the turbo to IC pipe in. otherwise you have to take it back out to make room for the fan and the new "fan shroud".

Let me know how the dual setup is with the hiboost kit. I'm considering going back and getting a nipple welded on so I can run the dual setup.

Did they weld the spot for the stock BPV on the Turbo > Intercooler Pipe?

Well, Im very close to being finished after the roadblocks and countless interruptions. Now all thats left is to tighten the SSQ down. (This is a pain because I didnt have the flange welded, so I have to cut an allen wrench down to tighten it) I need to buy some 90deg elbows to reconnect the stock bpv. And I need to hook the SSQ up.

I'm still trying to decide where to tap into for the SSQ. Any suggestions?

I remember a long time ago when me en my friend installed the hiboost kit overnight. IT WAS HELL. We took hella long imagining fumbling through the directions not knowing what we're doing all throughout the night. I felt like shit. So one day installing it (en fucking up) second day tuning everything like the bov en shiet. When we were done the pipes just get charging off. Our friend that knows how to do this kinda stuff came buy took of the pipes singlehandedly and arranged them so they all fit together perfectly within minutes of time. Bottom line, you just need skill and a firm grasp on how to do these kinds of things. If you don't youi will run into all sorts of problems...at least from my experience.
