I just installed the AWR MT front motor mount. The install was way easier than I imagined it would be. I took it for a short test drive and so far things feel great. The increased vibration is minimal and does not bother me one bit. What bothered me so much was the lurching my car would do before I put the mount in. It is now almost completely eliminated. Drving in reverse feels smoother than before, and in other gears the transition from no gas to gas is also much smoother. That lurching was driving me nuts. I will have to wait till monday for the ultimate test: rush hour traffic jam.
Anyone ever creep along idling in 1st gear, and then try to give it the slightest bit of gas?

Yeah, I have that all the time. Does just the AWR front motor mount cure that problem? If so, I will be all over it.

....installed my mount last weekend. love it except for the vibration between 700-900 rpm's. engine is so much tighter and engine lash is pretty much gone. wheel-hop was cut down by 80%. the engine lash is part of the problem with the first gear problem. with most manual transmissions, you have to be easy with throtle when in first gear when clutch is fully engaged coasting along.

I have the super hard ones in front and back..my stock back one was broken..and yes when you change that one it is a pain, and it also is the one that causes the most vibration...but that means it is doing its job. No more wheels hop..well less wheel hop for this speed.

it looks like the rear one if very difficult to reach without removing lots of stuff????

Ahh the only thing that was gay was the harness bolt, and of course I did'nt bring half of my tools home from work so it took longer than it should of. You do have to remove the ic to tb tube and the cats for the best maneuverablity.(spelling) But the front..it should not take you more than 20 minutes.

It definitely helps a lot. I wouldn't say it is cured, you can't just stomp the pedal, but it makes it much easier to pull off a smooth transition.
One more practical advantage these motor mounts have for everyday driving: I used to have "wheel hop" problems on steep driveways and such that are tilted to one side(I have many of these in my area). Some of these driveways would cause wheel hop under the slightest acceleration, but now I can punch it with no worries.(headbang)
Oh, and I took it out for some more testing. For the first time ever, I heard my tires squeal instead of chirp.

Installed the front mount (m/t) and it was such a big difference. The vibration wasn't bad at all (I acutally like it).
Does anyone here have the front (m/t) and the rear (a/t) installed? Should I go for this setup of just install the rear m/t mount?

I remember reading on here that having AWR front and stock rear can tear up the rear mount, any truth? I don't feel like messing with the rear mount...
