Ok I took off my wagner sri and looked inside. I could see oil inside the intake pipe. This is my first FI car and I have no idea whether or not this is normal. Someone tell me I'm screwed or not to worry about it. Thanks!

You need to get an oil catch can. I have had one in this MSP for 3-4 months and I can see the results of it.

What a big pussy this kid is crying over a lil spilled oil haha just kidding man.
If I remember correctly Hiboost relies on this oil for his mild steel pipes to coat them to prevent rust.

Member advice, that is not good for your engine.

The oil from my understanding comes from the head, the PCV valve or something and is blown out to the intake to get consumed by the engine.
I don't see how burning a negligable amount of oil is hurting your engine. It's not like your seals are busted and you are leaking lots of oil into the engine that you are burning it off on a cold start. If you could explain to me how it is bad in techincal terms since I really have no idea what I am talking about that would be cool hehe.
In my friends case I think the problem is also due to me putting a full 4qts of oil after an oil change.

the reason there is oil on the intake, is because of the return on the valve cover. It is connected with a hose to your intake. This is normal for emmissions. If you want to stop this from happening go to an autoparts store and get 2 breathers one for the valve cover and one for the intake.

Only need to worry if its an excessive amount of oil. Oil residue in the intake/intercooler tract is very normal on a turbo car.

What if Ihave a sri with no hose to the valve cover just a filter on the valve cover and no hose connected to the intake of the turbo just a small piece of pipe with a filter and I am getting a little oil in my pipes to.Please don't say bad turbo. It does't smoke at idle or while it's running and boost great.
