Where can I find an Injen CAI for the cheapest price? I remember Adventon had them for like $215 shipped for a while. I should have just bought it then, but I didn't think that it would jump up $60!
cheapest price would be if you could find it used. i seriously don't want to pay $250 for 2 pipes, a filter, and some silicone connectors.

If you are referring to Adventon I do not know. My price was that 208 online. I have talked to them on the phone, very nice people, sounds like a family business. If that's what you heard give it a try but I didn't have to go through that.

i believe the price went up because of the minimum retail market value set by injen for their dealers.

Yes that would make sence but do you really think they sudden'y cost more to produce? I wouldn't be suprised if the price went up cause there are X amount left, that kinda thing. They know how many cars are out there so perhaps they are just playing the market. But maybe I'm looking too deeply into it, who knows.

Injen set a jobber price structure for their entire product line. These prices (ei. MSP CAI polished $272, black $280) are the minimum for which retailers can market the Injen line. If Injen catches us with it cheaper, they will cut us off.
The reason for this; Injen doesn't want their parts to be whor'd out for $5 over cost. That in turn destroys the market and makes injen products out to be cheap.
To get around this, we can offer package prices such as Injen CAI and Greddy Auto Timer for $320. Packages can be arranged via phone if they are not on the site, which they aren't, yet. (2thumbs)

I'll be selling mine in about a month, along with the JoeP FPR already drilled into the Intake pipe, ready to be T'd into the Fuel Pressure Regulator. If anyone really wants it bad I'll part with it now, but I'm just waiting for Turbohoses to finish their SRI.

You are truely the devil on my right shoulder. I want that FMIC kit so bad right now. I am starting to think that it will be smartest to do the whole intake path in one shot (FMIC, pipes, intake, BOV). Thanks for reminding me...

I heard somewhere you had one of your own design in the works too. Is this true?
I had asked SPD racing about it when I ordered my FMIC last week but they didn't think you had produced it yet. If so let us know cause I still haven't bought an intake and I'm hoping you'll be sending my FMIC my way within the next few days. I'd rather have your since I'm not concerned with the brand name and would rather have a consistantly uniform look to all the intake pieces in my engine. If not I'll probably go with the perrin short ram.
sorry for the threadjack
