If you want to go strictly on reviews and reliability get yourself a Hallman ES (like 50.00) or the Hallman Pro (100.00)

boostsciences its a good oneYep :) They and Hallman both make good MBC's.

It's just a matter of where you want one from and so forth. Buying a used one from somebody on here is always a great route to go.

I'd of course be plenty happy to sell you one too. But if you get a great deal on these others nothing wrong with that either!

If you end up having any problems or questions just let me know and I'll do whatever I can to help. Doesn't matter to me if it is one of my MBC's or not.

Have a good one!

Wow... That post made me want to buy a boost controller from him, even though I don't have a turbo! =) What a nice guy!

whats creep eliminator ? eliminates creep....whats creep ?

Boost creep... It's when boost levels fluctuate, either due to wear on the spring, a damaged ball in the check valve, heat causing expansion of the MBC, heat damage, or overall wear and tear on said MBC, or simply because the MBC wasn't designed quite right. It happens in some MBC's right away, and some over time, needless to say. =)

and the creep eliminator will get rid of it ?

I would assume so! =) I've never tried one. I've used a MBC on my RX7 only, and it's currently waiting for the f'ing engine to go back in... Grr... Stupid shop is taking its time... Anyway... Back on topic. I don't know! =) I would think so, though.

the type of creep seen really often with mbc's and with ebc's for that matter (my profec spec-ii does it) is where the boost just takes off on it's own. You set the control of whatever sort to 9 psi and then arbitrarily (typically in 4th gear or higher for some reason) the boost will just keep building regardless. If it is a factor of the turbo system the creep eliminator will do very little (but will help to at least some extent assuming there is more opening possibility left with the wastegate), but for an MBC or an EBC that helps the creep eliminator does a really good job of preventing them from creeping up. It basically is a secondary device that sets a limit and tricks the system to keep the boost at the appropriate level. You only need one of those parts if you are having a problem with an existing MBC or an EBC (I'll be putting one on my profec to keep that bastard in check).

hope that helps!
