FS or trade: Greddy exhaust system for MSP.

***First off, realize this is for people interested in a new exhaust system, no flaming will be tolerated.***

This is the first available unit to come off the boat that has been prototyped on my MSP, and available in stores in the coming months.

If you cannot wait until it becomes available, or if you want to save money on it, please let me know.

I let Greddy use my vehicle to re-engineer the exhaust system for the MazdaSpeed, and they were gracious enough to supply me with the first system to come through customs. I have had it installed for less than a month, and I really like it. It looks cool and sounds good to. Unfortunately, I am low on money. I just moved into a condo and need to take care of some bills. The exhaust is about $615 new. If you check with Apex Motorsports, which is the only place I have seen which will be selling this exact exhaust system, they have not received any yet.

Some history: The part was supposedly available at one time, but did not fit properly, or was too loud for the local police. Greddy used my car to prototype the system and went through a redesign process. The exhaust on my car is the result of that redesign, which mostly centered around the resonator setup. You will like the sound. It is not loud at all, but more agressive than stock, especially at WOT! Please email or PM me with offers. I would also accept a trade for something like a CorkSport or Magnaflow if you are willing to pay a bit of cash to compensate for this part being worth so much more. I would not ask for much. I am not being greedy. I just need to pay some things off, or else I would keep this exhaust. Greddy makes amazing products, my car has a bunch of Greddy stuff on it. I will include the Greddy body emblem for FREE to the best offer. Thanks!

I bet Apex will sell it for around $470ish, since thats the price of the old system. I know it was sold for around that price too, so I doubt anyone will be buying it for $615.

I am not asking anywhere near $615. I just said that is the price on my invoice. I would accept $470 in fact. That is a steal, considering there is 1 available in the country as of right now. As you know the price usually goes up if something is 1 of a kind. I am not being greedy. I know these will eventually be released for sale. I just need some money now, and I have some plans that require some money also. For one...I still need my Greddy Profec B Spec II!
I have to call Charles again and see if they are off B/O. Let me know if anyone is interested in a deal on the exhaust...I will try to get some pics under the car tonight, and when I set up my computer/wireless network at home, I will update this thread. Thanks again!

Actually...if you need a Profec B Spec II...we have them in stock. I actually got my SP-2 last week so shipments are coming in for those.

That is the only price I could find out there. No one seems to have these in stock. I would be willing to accept less of course. I just want to get rid of my cats, basically. I like the Greddy, I woudl consider just getting a pipe to elminate the cats, but the Greddy has a resonator, and I wouldn't want to waste it.

Yeah, I am looking to trade for something like a CorkSport or Magnaflow. Basically my idea is to get the J pipe from SPD motorsports, and hook that up to the CorkSport. If I get a high flow Jpipe and replace my two cats with one high flow cat, that is not going to sound much different than stock. I want just 1 high flow cat and no resonator. Hence my dilemma. I would rather someone enjoy the Greddy system who wants an exhaust that isn't buzzy. The resonator makes it sound good, not buzzy. I am only asking for like $125 and the trade. I think that is quite reasonable. I am even willing to negotiate slightly. This exhaust comes off the cats, it polished stainless steel, and includes a nice Greddy resonator, muffler and polished signature Greddy tip. I think it is worth the extra money. I may regret the swap if I get a new exhaust and it is buzzy, but that will be my mistake. Let me know!
