This will be my first winter using my car with my cai installed. I am just curious as to how big of a deal it is to get water mist in my intake. I drive to school on the freeway and since i live in utah there are tons of suvs and they always leave a huge mist trail behind them so i am concerned that the water will get into my intake and cause problems. I might consider fiberglassing a box to go around my filter to help protect it but im not sure if it is worth the trouble. Thanks for any help

Water mist is no problem at all with intakes. The only real problem with water and intakes is if the filter is completely submerged and then draws water into the engine causing it to hydrolock.
Water injection is actually a performance mod where a very fine mist is sprayed into the intake to cool the air entering the engine. No worries :)
