The Nissan Tiida Latio is one of 6 new cars unveiled in Japan Sept 2. The question is if it's the basis for the 2006 Sentra. If it is, one could understand why Nissan had to delay the Sentra's launch. Hopefully, it wouldn't look much like this - a wicked blend of a 2002 Toyota Prius and a lack of imagination.

This car is based off the Renualt Clio not the Megane. So this is probably not the Sentra's replace but a entry level Nissan to compete with the coming Honda Jazz and other small cars.
